We combine world-class hands-on training, structured online education, and ongoing mentorship to help providers build real clinical confidence with MSK ultrasound.
Rather than relying on one-off weekend courses with large trainer to trainee ratios, our Residency Program is designed around repetition, feedback, and progressive skill development so you can actually apply what you learn in practice.

- A structured online academy and scanning curriculum

03 What If I Have No Ultrasound Experience?
The program meets you where you are. Whether you’re starting from scratch or building on prior training, the curriculum takes you from fundamentals to mastery.
04 Can physical therapists claim AMA PRA Category 1 CME credits?
Generally, yes. If the education is relevant to PT scope of practice, AMA PRA Category 1 Credits are typically accepted for PT continuing education across most of the United States.

About Our Founders
AMSKU was founded by two clinicians who believed there had to be a better way to get patients the answers they needed. Their search led them to MSK ultrasound—and then to another problem: learning to scan was only half the battle. Clinicians needed a better way to develop the judgment, confidence, and real-world integration to actually use it.
So Colin and Ryan built the training they wished they'd had: structured, hands-on, mentorship-driven, and built for real clinical practice.
Colin Rigney PT, DPT, OCS, RMSK
Board-certified orthopedic specialist and RMSK-certified clinician. Colin leads curriculum and hands-on instruction, helping clinicians turn complex anatomy and pathology into confident clinical decisions.
Ryan Martin PT, DPT, RMSK
